Synopsis: 1000 years ago, the God of war and the Star of Mosha fought against each other during a bitter battle that almost upturned the way of the world. However at the end of it, both had disappeared mysteriously. 1000 years later, their reincarnations are born into the mortal realm. Chu Xuanji was born into the world lacking the ability to understand or receiving information from the 6 senses leaving her clueless to the world and inept. She befriends Yu Sifeng, the most skilled disciple from the Lize palace who falls in love with her despite the consequences that would occur if he falls in love with a woman. Meanwhile, the demonic realm are preparing themselves to revive the star of Mosha in order to overthrow the Heavenly realm once more and soon the events of the past catches up to them….

Notes:

1. Dressed in armor: there is a chinese idiom called 龙袍加身 or wearing the dragon robes which means being named the emperor by the situation which I think it what this is derived from. I assumed what she means is she became a revered general because of the situation
2. Suffered so much bitterness because of you: The chinese term for suffering is 吃苦 which the literal translation is eating/taking bitterness so I tried to weave it into my translation
3. The east wind brings in warmth….The swan geese returns: This is an excerpt from the book of rites describing the coming of Spring
4. Heaven’s son resides in the west of Qingyang….: This is Master Lü’s Spring and Autumn Annals it describes the bedchamber of the Emperor is in the north east part of the palace
5. Jia grade: There are 3 kinds of grades in traditional chinese tests, the Jia, Yi and Bing grades, Jia is an exceptional grade (80-100 marks), Yi is a good grade (60-80) and Bing is a fail or bad grade (under 60). (source from baidu)
