Synopsis: 1000 years ago, the God of war and the Star of Mosha fought against each other during a bitter battle that almost upturned the way of the world. However at the end of it, both had disappeared mysteriously. 1000 years later, their reincarnations are born into the mortal realm. Chu Xuanji was born into the world lacking the ability to understand or receiving information from the 6 senses leaving her clueless to the world and inept. She befriends Yu Sifeng, the most skilled disciple from the Lize palace who falls in love with her despite the consequences that would occur if he falls in love with a woman. Meanwhile, the demonic realm are preparing themselves to revive the star of Mosha in order to overthrow the Heavenly realm once more and soon the events of the past catches up to them….

Commentary from the subber: Sad bit almost over. Another tear jerking episode

Notes:

1. Young Master Yi: The character Yi means wings so technically he’s young master wings, hinting at his true identity
2. Consuming the wind: It means being destitute. When you have no money, you will have nothing to eat except the wind/air.
3. Something dirty: It doesn’t mean actual dirt, it just means ghosts/demons. Not sure why we chinese call them that though
4. 10 blankets: The term for lifetime is phoentically the same as the term for blankets hence the play of words here.
5. Devils v.s. demons: I noticed on MDL comments about what the difference between devils (Mo) and demons (Yao) are. The way I think of it is that although they are both supposedly “evil” but demons usually have an animal form or have animal like features whereas devils are similar to the demons we think of in western literature, dark entities with evil powers who often commit atrocities. So SF and his sect, Wu Zhi Qi, Zihu, Ting Nu are all demons. Tengshe is a celestial beast because he has a celestial root/form, without that he would be a demon too. Only LHJD and the asuras are devils.
